Each gram of Daktarin Powder contains 20mg of the active ingredient, miconazole nitrate.
It works by destroying the fungus responsible for fungal infections and other bacteria in the infected area. The powder is particularly useful for its drying effect.
Daktarin Powder can have side effects, although they are usually mild and don't affect everyone. These may include skin burning sensation, application site reactions, irritation, burning, warmth, itchiness, inflammation, and skin discoloration.
Daktarin powder is for cutaneous administration. Apply the powder twice daily to the lesions, continuing treatment for about 10 days after all lesions have disappeared to prevent relapse. The powder is recommended for adults and should not be used for hair and nail infections.
