Active Ingredient

• Framycetin Sulphate BP 1%: An aminoglycoside antibiotic effective against a broad spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Indications

Agarytulle is indicated for the treatment of:

• Infected Burns: Helps prevent and treat bacterial infections in burn wounds.
• Wounds and Ulcers: Assists in managing bacterial infections in various types of wounds and skin ulcers.
• Graft Sites: Prevents infection in areas where skin grafts have been applied.

Usage Instructions

• Application: Apply a single layer directly to the cleansed wound, ensuring it covers the affected area completely.
• Secondary Dressing: Cover with an appropriate absorbent secondary dressing to secure in place.
• Dressing Changes: For exudative wounds, change the dressing at least once daily.
• Leg Ulcers: Cut the dressing to the exact size of the ulcer to minimize contact with surrounding healthy skin.

Possible Side Effects

• Local Reactions: Rarely, local allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or redness may occur.
• Systemic Effects: Unlikely with appropriate use; however, caution is advised when used on large surface areas.
