How to Take Amatem Softgel Forte
For the best results, Amatem Softgel must be taken with fatty food or milk. This is critical because fat significantly increases the absorption of Lumefantrine, ensuring the medicine works effectively.
Dosage
The standard course for adults and children over 35kg is a 3-day regimen consisting of 6 capsules in total:
- Day 1: 1 capsule immediately, then 1 capsule after 8 hours.
- Day 2: 1 capsule twice daily (morning and evening).
- Day 3: 1 capsule twice daily (morning and evening).
Always complete the full 3-day course even if you start feeling better sooner.
