How Arenax Plus Works
Arenax Plus contains a fixed-dose combination of:
- Artemether (20 mg): A fast-acting component that rapidly reduces the malaria parasite load in the bloodstream, providing quick relief from symptoms.
- Lumefantrine (120 mg): A long-acting antimalarial that eliminates any remaining parasites, significantly reducing the risk of the infection returning.
Indication and Use
This 6-tablet pack is specifically designed as a full treatment course for infants and children weighing between 5 kg and 15 kg. It is used to treat malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum, including strains that may be resistant to older medications like chloroquine.
