What is Brustan-N Used For?
Brustan-N is primarily used as an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). It is highly effective for:
- Fever Reduction: Quickly lowers high body temperatures, including fever following immunizations.
- Pain Relief: Relieves headaches, toothaches, teething pain, and sore throats.

Brustan Syrup Dosage for Children
To ensure safety and efficacy, use the measuring cup provided. The typical dosage is administered 3 times daily:
- 1 – 2 years: 2.5ml
- 3 – 7 years: 5ml
- 8 – 12 years: 10ml
- Adults and Children over 12: 10ml to 20ml as directed.
Dosage for Babies
For infants under 12 months or babies weighing less than 5kg, consult your pediatrician or a GoMed pharmacist before use. Ibuprofen should be used with caution in very young infants.
