Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo is a medicated treatment designed to alleviate dry, scaly scalp conditions such as dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis, psoriasis, and cradle cap in children. Its unique formulation combines active ingredients that work together to soothe irritation, reduce flakiness, and restore scalp health.

Active Ingredients

• Coal Tar: 1% w/w – Provides antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and anti-itch properties to help treat scalp ailments.

• Salicylic Acid: 0.5% w/w – Gently exfoliates the scalp, removing scales and preventing further shedding of skin cells.

• Coconut Oil: 1% w/w – Softens, moisturizes, and lubricates the scalp, promoting healing and comfort.

Indications

Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo is indicated for the treatment of:

• Dandruff

• Seborrhoeic Dermatitis

• Psoriasis of the Scalp

• Cradle Cap in Children

• Seborrhoeic Eczema

Dosage and Administration

• Frequency: Use as a shampoo daily if necessary until the scalp condition improves.

• Application:

  1. Wet the hair thoroughly.

  2. Apply a small amount of shampoo to the scalp, approximately the size of a fifty pence piece.

  3. Massage the shampoo into the scalp with the fingertips, leaving it on for a few minutes to allow the active ingredients to work effectively.

  4. Rinse thoroughly with water.

  5. Repeat the application if necessary.

  6. After rinsing, dry the hair as usual.
