Product Description
Co-Micardis 40/12.5mg is a fixed-dose combination antihypertensive medication that combines Telmisartan 40mg, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), with Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg, a thiazide diuretic. This combination works by relaxing blood vessels and promoting excretion of excess salt and water, effectively lowering high blood pressure (hypertension).
It is prescribed when monotherapy with Telmisartan is insufficient for blood pressure control.
