Active Ingredient

Indications

Diclofenac Tablets are prescribed for the relief of:

• Osteoarthritis: Eases joint pain and stiffness associated with degenerative joint disease.
• Rheumatoid Arthritis: Reduces inflammation, swelling, and pain in affected joints.
• Ankylosing Spondylitis: Alleviates symptoms of spinal arthritis, including pain and stiffness.
• Acute Pain: Manages mild to moderate pain from various conditions.

Usage Instructions

• Dosage:
  • Osteoarthritis: 50 mg orally two or three times daily, or 75 mg twice daily.
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis: 50 mg orally three or four times daily, or 75 mg twice daily.
  • Ankylosing Spondylitis: 25 mg orally four times daily, with an additional 25 mg dose at bedtime if necessary.
  • Acute Pain or Dysmenorrhea: 50 mg orally three times daily.
• Administration: Swallow tablets whole with a full glass of water; take with food or milk to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort.
• Duration: Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with treatment goals.

Possible Side Effects

• Common: Indigestion, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, headache, dizziness.
• Serious: Heart attack, stroke, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver dysfunction, kidney problems, severe allergic reactions.
