Composition and Mechanism
Each Encorate Chrono 200 tablet contains approximately 133.2 mg of Sodium Valproate and 58 mg of Valproic Acid, which is equivalent to 200 mg of Sodium Valproate. As an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer, it works by increasing the levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain, a neurotransmitter that helps calm the central nervous system and prevent seizures or stabilize mood.
