How It Works
Unlike regular ointments that may wash away quickly, Kenalog in Orabase is formulated in a unique sticky base (Orabase) that adheres to the moist lining of the mouth. This forms a protective film over the ulcer, shielding it from irritation caused by food, drink, and saliva, while allowing the medication to work directly on the affected area.
