What is AnoBliss Cream?
AnoBliss Cream is a topical medication formulated with a combination of Nifedipine (0.3% w/w) and Lidocaine Hydrochloride (1.5% w/w). It is primarily used for the management and treatment of chronic anal fissures (small tears in the lining of the anus).
How It Works
This dual-action cream works in two ways to provide relief and promote recovery:
- Nifedipine: Acts as a calcium channel blocker that helps relax the internal anal sphincter muscle. By reducing the resting anal pressure, it improves local blood flow, which is essential for the healing of the fissure.
- Lidocaine: A local anesthetic that provides rapid, temporary relief from pain, itching, and discomfort by blocking nerve signals in the affected area.
Usage Instructions
AnoBliss Cream should be applied locally to the affected area as directed by your doctor or healthcare professional. It is typically applied twice daily. Ensure the area is clean before application.
