Mixing and Dosage Guide
For the best results and to ensure safety, always follow the recommended dilution rates. Sniper should be mixed with water before application:
- For Cockroaches and Bed Bugs: Mix 15ml of Sniper in 300ml of water. Apply to cracks, crevices, and hiding spots.
- For Flies and Ants: Mix 3ml of Sniper in 200ml of water.
- For Stored Grains: Mix 7ml in 300ml of water for treated surfaces.
- Large Scale/Field Crops: Use at a rate of 1.25% per hectare as directed by a professional.
Safety Precautions and NAFDAC Regulations
Warning: Sniper DDVP is classified as Class Ib (Highly Hazardous) and is toxic. Due to its potency, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) restricted the sale of the 100ml pack size in 2019. Currently, 250ml, 500ml, and 1-liter bottles are intended for professional handlers and certified agro-chemical use.
- Protective Gear: Always wear a face mask, gloves, and protective clothing when spraying.
- Ventilation: Do not stay in the room during or immediately after spraying. Treated areas must be locked and left to ventilate for at least 6 to 12 hours before re-entry.
