Synriam is a fast-acting, synthetic fixed-dose combination antimalarial medication used for the treatment of acute uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum. It is a modern alternative to traditional artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs).
Synriam contains two potent active ingredients: Arterolane maleate (150mg) and Piperaquine phosphate (750mg).

Synriam utilizes a dual-action mechanism to provide rapid relief:

Dosage and How to Take Synriam
The standard dosage for adults and children weighing 20kg or more is one tablet daily for 3 consecutive days.

- Administration: While it can be taken on an empty stomach, taking it with a light meal or milk may help improve the absorption of Piperaquine and reduce the chance of stomach upset.
- Completion: It is mandatory to complete the full 3-day course even if you start feeling better after the first tablet.
