Product Overview

Teva Tadalafil 10 mg tablets are a generic form of the medication commonly known by the brand name Cialis. Tadalafil belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors and is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, aiding in achieving and maintaining an erection.

Indications

• Erectile Dysfunction (ED): Tadalafil is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, which is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance.

Dosage and Administration

• Recommended Dose: The recommended starting dose is 10 mg taken prior to anticipated sexual activity. Based on individual efficacy and tolerability, the dose may be increased to 20 mg or decreased to 5 mg. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once per day.

• Administration: Tadalafil tablets may be taken with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. It is effective within 30 minutes and can improve erectile function for up to 36 hours.

Precautions

• Contraindications: Do not use Tadalafil if you are taking any form of nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin) due to the risk of a significant drop in blood pressure. It is also contraindicated in patients with a known serious hypersensitivity to tadalafil.
