What is Ventolin Nebules 5mg?
Ventolin Nebules 5mg is a sterile inhalation solution containing Salbutamol Sulfate. It is formulated to provide fast-acting relief for severe breathing difficulties. Each 2.5ml ampoule contains 5mg of Salbutamol, which works by relaxing the muscles in the airways to make breathing easier.
How Ventolin Nebules Work
Ventolin belongs to a group of medicines called fast-acting bronchodilators. When inhaled through a nebulizer, the medication travels directly into the lungs. This provides rapid relief (usually within 5 minutes) from symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, and chest tightness associated with asthma or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
Usage and Administration
This product is intended for inhalation use only using a nebulizer machine. It must not be injected or swallowed.
- Open the foil sachet and remove one plastic ampoule.
- Twist off the top of the ampoule and squeeze the contents into the nebulizer chamber.
- Use the nebulizer as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
- Any solution remaining in the nebulizer after use should be discarded.
Storage and Care
