Xtenda-20 (Tadalafil)
Overview
Xtenda-20 contains Tadalafil, a medication used primarily to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. By increasing blood flow to particular areas of the body, it helps to achieve and maintain an erection and can also alleviate symptoms of an enlarged prostate.
Uses
Erectile Dysfunction
- Function: Helps to achieve and maintain an erection by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation.
- Usage: Taken as needed, approximately 30 minutes before sexual activity, with effects lasting up to 36 hours.
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
- Function: Alleviates symptoms such as difficulty urinating, weak stream, and the need to urinate frequently or urgently.
- Usage: Typically taken once daily.

Dosage

Side Effects
- Common: Headache, flushing, upset stomach, back pain, muscle pain, stuffy nose, and dizziness.
- Serious: Vision changes, sudden vision loss, ringing in the ears, sudden hearing loss, chest pain, shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat, and an erection lasting more than 4 hours. Seek medical attention if serious side effects occur.
Precautions
- Medical History: Inform your doctor if you have any history of heart problems, low or high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease, vision problems, or any other significant medical conditions.
