1.75g of albendazole, 0.3g of sodium carboxymethylcellulose, 0.0125mL of polysorbate-80, 0.3g of citric acid, 0.075g of sodium benzoate and purified water

Albendazole is used to treat neurocysticercosis, an infection of the nervous system caused by pork tapeworms. This medicine is also used to treat cystic hydatid disease of the liver, lung, and peritoneum, an infection caused by dog tapeworms. Albendazole is used to treat infections caused by worms.
Precautions and Side Effects
Albendazole may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:
- Stomach pain.
- Nausea.
- Vomiting.
- Headache.
- Dizziness.
- Reversible hair loss.
Administration
Adults and children weighing less than 60 kg—Dose is based on body weight and must be determined by your doctor. The dose is usually 15 mg per kg of body weight per day, divided into 2 doses, taken with meals, for 8 to 30 days.
