Active Ingredients:
- Loratadine: Loratadine is a second-generation antihistamine that helps alleviate allergy symptoms by blocking histamine from attaching to H1 receptors in the body.
Health Benefits:
- Allergy Relief: Loratadine is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, and itching of the nose or throat.
- Skin Reaction Relief: It can also be used to treat itching and redness caused by hives. However, it does not prevent hives or other skin reactions.

Loratadine is usually taken once per day. Follow your doctor's instructions. Do not crush, chew, or break the regular tablet.Side Effects and Precautions:
- Side Effects: Some people may experience drowsiness, headache, and dry mouth. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
- Precautions: Before using this medication, inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to loratadine or if you have any other allergies. Also, let them know about your medical history, especially of liver disease and kidney disease. This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy, and it is not known if it passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
