Atadyn Loratadine Syrup 5mg/5ml (100ml)
Atadyn Syrup is a non-sedating antihistamine used to manage symptoms associated with allergic conditions. It contains Loratadine, which provides 24-hour relief from common allergy symptoms without making you feel drowsy.
What is Atadyn Syrup used for?
Atadyn is primarily used for the symptomatic relief of:
- Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis: Sneezing, nasal discharge (runny nose), and itching.
- Ocular Symptoms: Itching and burning of the eyes.
- Chronic Hives (Urticaria): Relief from redness, itching, and swelling of the skin.
- Other Allergic Dermatological Disorders.
How Atadyn Works
Atadyn contains Loratadine, a second-generation antihistamine that acts as a selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonist. It blocks the action of histamine, a natural substance in the body that causes allergic reactions. Because it does not readily enter the brain, it is less likely to cause drowsiness compared to older antihistamines.
