Cosopt Eye Drop
Overview
Cosopt Eye Drop is a prescription medication used to treat elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in individuals with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. The active ingredients are dorzolamide hydrochloride, a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, and timolol maleate, a beta-adrenergic receptor blocker. Together, they work to reduce eye pressure by decreasing the production of aqueous humor (fluid) in the eye.
