Misopt Eye Drops
Product Description
Misopt Eye Drops is a prescription ophthalmic solution that combines Dorzolamide hydrochloride (a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor) and Timolol maleate (a beta-blocker). It is used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, especially when single-agent therapy is inadequate.
By reducing fluid production in the eye, Misopt helps prevent damage to the optic nerve and loss of vision due to high pressure inside the eye.
