COVERAM 5/10MG

COVERAM 5/10MG is indicated as substitution therapy for the treatment of hypertension and/or stable coronary heart disease in patients already controlled with separate doses of perindopril and amlodipine, given concurrently at the same dose level.

Active Ingredients:

The active ingredients are 5 mg perindopril arginine and 10 mg amlodipine.

Health Benefits:

COVERAM helps control blood pressure and/or treat coronary heart disease but does not cure it.

Precautions and Side Effects:

Important precautions and side effects include:

• Do not drink grapefruit juice and eat grapefruit while taking Coveram.
• Contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to active ingredients, ACE inhibitors, dihydropyridines, or excipients in Coveram.
• Not suitable during pregnancy and for lactating women.
• Severe overdose may lead to excessive peripheral vasodilation, reflex tachycardia, severe systemic hypotension, and possibly fatal shock.

Administration:

Swallow your tablet(s) with a glass of water. Take one tablet per day as a single dose, preferably in the morning and before a meal. It is important to take the medicine every day as regular treatment works better. If a dose is forgotten, take the next dose at the usual time. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Always follow the doctor's recommended dosage.
