Indications

• Insomnia: Zopice is indicated for the short-term treatment of insomnia in adults, particularly when sleep initiation or maintenance is significantly impaired, causing severe distress.

Dosage and Administration

• Adults: The recommended dose is 7.5 mg taken orally just before bedtime.

• Elderly Patients: A starting dose of 3.75 mg is recommended, which may be increased to 7.5 mg if necessary, based on individual response and tolerability.

• Patients with Hepatic or Renal Impairment: A lower dose of 3.75 mg is advised to reduce the risk of accumulation and adverse effects.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water. Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet. It is advisable to take Zopice when you can have a full night's sleep (7–8 hours) before you need to be active again.

• Duration of Use: Zopice is intended for short-term use only, typically not exceeding 7–14 days. Prolonged use is not recommended due to the risk of dependence.
