Product Overview

Olanza-10 contains olanzapine 10 mg, an atypical antipsychotic used to treat mental health conditions such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. It helps regulate brain chemicals (dopamine and serotonin) to improve mood, thoughts, and behavior.

Indications

Olanza-10 is prescribed for:

• Schizophrenia – Treats hallucinations, delusions, and thought disturbances.
• Bipolar Disorder – Manages manic and depressive episodes, stabilizing mood swings.
• Adjunct Therapy for Depression – Used with other antidepressants for major depressive disorder (MDD).

Dosage and Administration

• Adults:
  • Schizophrenia & Bipolar Disorder: 5–20 mg once daily.
  • Adjunct for Depression: Typically 5–10 mg daily alongside an antidepressant.
• Children (13–17 years): Dosage varies; must be determined by a doctor.
• Administration:
  • Take once daily, with or without food.
  • Swallow the tablet whole with water.
  • Avoid alcohol while taking olanzapine.

Precautions

• Drowsiness & Dizziness: Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how the medication affects you.
