Augmentin 228mg/5ml Suspension is a pediatric oral antibiotic designed to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in children. It combines **Amoxicillin** and **Clavulanic Acid**, offering enhanced protection against resistant bacteria. Augmentin 228mg/5ml is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate infections caused by beta-lactamase producing bacteria, such as:
Reconstitute the powder with the specified amount of water. Shake well before each use. Administer using a dosing syringe or spoon provided. Dosage depends on the child's age, weight, and infection severity. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early.
Before reconstitution: Store below 25°C in a dry place.
After reconstitution: Store in the refrigerator and use within 7 days. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
