20% UREA CREAM 30G is used to treat dry/rough skin conditions (e.g., eczema, psoriasis, corns, callus) and some nail problems (e.g., ingrown nails). It may also be used to help remove dead tissue in some wounds to aid wound healing. Urea is known as a keratolytic, increasing moisture in the skin by softening/dissolving the horny substance (keratin) holding the top layer of skin cells together.
The cream contains Urea and other active ingredients like corticosteroids (hydrocortisone).
Urea cream helps soften dry, rough, or thick skin as a result of eczema, psoriasis, or other skin conditions. It can also assist with non-surgical nail removal. The cream works best if applied to the skin while damp, such as after a bath or shower.
Burning, itching, stinging, redness, or irritation may occur. If any of these effects last or worsen, it's advised to inform your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
