TEGRETOL SYRUP is an anticonvulsant that plays a crucial role in decreasing nerve impulses responsible for seizures and pain.
It is primarily used to prevent and control seizures, functioning as an anticonvulsant or anti-epileptic drug. Additionally, it is employed to alleviate certain types of nerve pain, such as trigeminal neuralgia. The medication works by reducing the spread of seizure activity in the brain and restoring the normal balance of nerve activity.
Shake the bottle well before each dose and carefully measure the dose using a special measuring device/spoon.
Do not use a household spoon as it may result in an incorrect dose. Separate doses of the suspension from other liquid medicines by at least 2 hours.
