P-alaxin is an antimalarial tablet used in the treatment of high resistance malaria. It works to eliminate the malaria parasite from your body.
P-Alaxin is a medication to be taken once daily for three days, and dosage is based on weight. Follow the doctor's prescription. It's advisable to take an iron syrup after usage.
- Discontinue and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of the face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
- Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
