COVERAM is indicated as substitution therapy for the treatment of hypertension and/or stable coronary heart disease in patients already controlled with separate doses of perindopril and amlodipine. It helps control blood pressure and/or treat coronary heart disease but does not cure it.
Coveram is taken orally by swallowing the tablet whole with a glass of water, preferably at the same time each day, in the morning before meals. Dosage should be as prescribed by the physician.
Some precautions include avoiding grapefruit juice while taking Coveram. Symptoms of an allergic reaction may include skin rash, itchiness, shortness of breath, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue, muscle pain, and erectile dysfunction. Consult with a healthcare professional for guidance.
