POSTPILL is an emergency contraceptive pill (also known as the "morning-after pill"). It is used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or failure of other forms of protection. It contains Levonorgestrel, a synthetic hormone that prevents pregnancy by stopping the release of an egg from the ovary or preventing fertilization by altering the cervical mucus and the lining of the uterus.
