LAMISIL CREAM

LAMISIL CREAM contains the active ingredient terbinafine hydrochloride (1.0% w/w), an antifungal used to treat fungal skin infections, including Athlete's foot (tinea pedis).

Health Benefits

This medication is effective in treating various fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot, jock itch, and pityriasis (tinea versicolor). Pityriasis is a fungal infection causing lightening or darkening of the skin on the neck, chest, arms, or legs.

Precautions

• Avoid use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without doctor's advice.
• Consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
• Lamisil 1% w/w Cream is not expected to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.

Administration

Apply a thin layer of the cream on the affected skin and surrounding areas. Gently rub in, and if used between the toes, buttocks, or groin, you may cover the treated area with a light, fresh gauze strip, especially at night. Replace the cap on the tube and wash your hands.
