GALVUS 50MG TABS is used to lower blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus either alone or in combination with certain other medicines (metformin, a sulfonylurea medicine, or pioglitazone, metformin and a sulfonylurea, or insulin injections) when diet plus exercise plus the single or dual medicines do not provide an adequate amount of blood sugar control.
