GETRYL(GLIMEPIRIDE) 2MG is an oral blood glucose-lowering drug of the sulfonylurea class. It lowers the blood glucose in patients with noninsulin-dependent (Type 2) diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) whose hyperglycemia cannot be controlled by diet and exercise alone.
