What is Hospimox Suspension Used For?
This medication is primarily used to treat bacterial infections in infants and children. Common conditions treated with Hospimox include:
- Upper Respiratory Tract Infections: Such as tonsillitis, sinusitis, and otitis media (middle ear infection).
- Lower Respiratory Tract Infections: Including pneumonia and bronchitis.
- Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs).

Hospimox works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Please note that it only treats bacterial infections and will not work for viral infections like the common cold or flu.
