Active Ingredient

• Ivermectin 3 mg: An antiparasitic agent effective against various parasitic infections.

Indications

Mectizan is indicated for the treatment of:

• Onchocerciasis (River Blindness): Caused by the parasite Onchocerca volvulus.
• Strongyloidiasis of the Intestinal Tract: Due to the nematode Strongyloides stercoralis.

• Administration: Take on an empty stomach with water.
• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it is near the time for the next dose. Do not double the dose.

Possible Side Effects

• Common: Dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, fatigue.
• Serious: Severe allergic reactions, neurological symptoms.
